I. General Provisions
Halfway house Under the wings (next DPC) is a social service facility that provides social services according to § 58 of Act No. 108/2006 Coll. about social services. Its founder is a civil association Under the wings placed in Druzstevni 228, Valasske Mezirici, which also provides social services.
II. Mission and goals of Halfway house Under the wings
The mission of the Halfway houses Under wings is to support young adults from 18 years of rule under 26 years who, upon reaching his majority leaving institutional care for institutional or protective care or leaving foster families or dysfunctional biological family (which were supervised department of social and legal protection of children) to enter into independent life.
At the Halfway houses, we offer the following core activities and services:
a) the provision of accommodation
b) to connect the social environment
c) social therapeutic activities
d) assistance in the implementation of rights and legitimate interests of providing personal matters.
The target group DPC are young adults aged 18 to 26 years of rule, who, upon reaching his majority leaving institutional care for institutional or protective care or leaving the foster family or dysfunctional biological families, which were under the supervision department of social and legal protection children. The accommodations are preferentially recruited applicants residing in the Zlin region, in the case of free accommodation are accepted applicants from the entire country.
To the DPC can not be accepted by users who would otherwise have belonged to the target group, if it is a person: with chronic psychiatric illness
- People with visual disabilities
- People with hearing impairments
- Persons with mental disabilities, who need to live independently considerable assistance of another person
- Persons with disabilities
The aim of Social Services Halfway house Under the wings is the integration of young adults at the end of institutional care or foster care to integrate into a single life:
measure of successful integration are:
- The ability of users regularly pay the agreed payment for accommodation
- Regularly attend employment
- The ability to make ends meet from their monthly income and do not get owed
- Respect the rights of people, other people and society as a whole, if the user meets the above criteria for at least 12 months. Implementation of this objective is measurable and controllable by the individual plans (IP) services. Evaluation of this objective is in line with an overall score IP users – it is always 2x a year to June 30 and December 31 that year. Rating out key personnel. - Expand the provision of social services DPC and outside of the Zlin region
- Influencing social policy of the state, particularly in relation problems of young adults at the end of institutional care – through participation in seminars, conferences, reminding laws, cooperation with other stakeholders
III. Principles of Service
Providing social services in the Halway houses Under the wings we maintain dignity of our users, we provide the service with regard to their needs and goals, we respect their decisions and the services we provide to contribute to the independence and sovereignty of our users. To the users we maintain absolute discretion – about them, the findings and personal data.
