City Valasske Mezirici donated to the civic association Under the wings an old building located in the street Hranicka for a reconstruction. The donated building was with the all needed construction documentation.
Part of the budget for the beginning of the reconstruction the Civic association Under the wings had from the Advent concert from 2000. The rest the civic association Under the wings received from grants, various endowment funds, sponsors, businesses and other small donors. During the period of two seasons volunteers from ADRA helped with the reconstruction. Even foreign students from IBO organizations came to help as well. They were mainly from Belgium, but also Italy and Holland. Second halfway house was opened in 2004.
The reconstruction was done by company VOPS, s.r.o.
